Students and staff donate food to help local families
Generous students and their families help the local community
Students and staff have been busy donating food to support the Food Bank collection as part of a Harvest Appeal from the Black Country Food Bank.
Stocks had become very low over the summer and students and their families and staff at Pedmore have donated a wide variety of food products to help many local families who have struggled during the summer holidays. Mrs Woods, teacher at Pedmore and coordinator of the collection said, "This has been a really successful collection and we were amazed by the amount of donations from everyone here at Pedmore. It has been a whole school effort and the collection has raised awareness of the plight of many families in our region who rely on the Food Bank to help their family in difficult times".
