At Pedmore High School we use two type of payments: The school meals portal is used for catering payments and Parent Pay for everything else.
Catering payments
Your child has been issued with an ID Card that has their name and photo on it. This card can be used at the school’s tills to purchase food at breakfast, break and lunch times. You will be able to top up your child’s card via the School Meal Portal by clicking on the tab on the Pedmore High School Website. If a replacement ID card is required this can be purchased through Parent Pay at a cost of £2.
There are three options to top up your child’s card:
By bank card with an amount of your choice.
By setting up a Direct Debit of £15.00. The system will automatically top up when your child’s balance falls below £5.00. If you select this option you can also set a low balance alert so you know when money will be taken from your bank.
Via PayPal
The first time you top up your child’s account we suggest that you set a daily limit. This can be changed at any time.
Free School Meal students will automatically get a daily allowance of £2.53 this can be use at break time or lunch time to purchase food. Parents can also add money to FSM students’ cards to enable them to purchase additional meals or drinks in school. The system will automatically use the FSM allocation element first each day.

Parent Pay
Parent Pay is the payment method for items such as school trips and revision guides. Using a secure website called ParentPay you will be able to pay online using your credit / debit card or continue to make cash payments at Pay Point stores.

How to get started with ParentPay?
We will send you your account activation details. Once you receive these:
Visit ParentPay
Enter your Activation username and password in the Account Login section of the homepage
These are for one-time use only, please choose your own username and password for future access during the activation process. Provide all the necessary information and choose your new username and password for your account – registering your email address will enable us to send you receipts and reminders
Once activation is complete you can go to straight to Items for payment, select which item(s) you want to add to your basket and proceed to complete your payment
