Students and staff at Pedmore High School are celebrating today after achieving some excellent examination results. This year’s GCSE and vocational outcomes show continued progress and improvement, reflecting the hard work, resilience, and dedication of the entire school community.

Across the vast majority of subjects, the school saw an increase in the number of students making positive progress. In English, maths and the sciences, progress measures improved significantly, with a number of students going on to study those subjects at A Level.
Vocational qualifications also saw a boost, with many students exceeding national expectations. Enterprise and Marketing, Child Development and Travel and Tourism outcomes were all excellent, as were GCSE Music and GCSE Drama results.
Pedmore High School continues to grow in ambition and achievement; this year’s exam results confirm that standards are continuing to improve. We are delighted that the vast majority of students leaving Pedmore have gained places at their first-choice post-16 destination. We all wish them the very best in their future endeavours.
Among the standout successes were:
Daisy Insull, who achieved six Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and a Grade 7, as well as being a standout performer in drama and music productions throughout her time at Pedmore.
Rehman Malik, who achieved top grades across a range of subjects, including Italian and French, a really gifted linguist.
Assma Maryam, who excelled in a wide variety of subjects including the sciences, food technology and English. Assma attended a range of additional Saturday and holiday sessions, taking every opportunity to achieve her outstanding results.
James Walton, an excellent sportsman who achieved fantastic grades across a wide range of subjects including GCSE PE, science and geography.
"I am proud of these results, which reflect our school’s commitment to high standards and inclusive education. Our staff have gone above and beyond, and our students should be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved."
Mr. Mills - Headteacher of Pedmore High School
Phillipa Harris, Deputy CEO of Invictus Education Trust, commented:
"A huge well done to all our Year 11 students on their GCSE results. Your hard work, determination and resilience have been inspiring and we are incredibly proud of what you have achieved. We would also like to pay tribute to our dedicated colleagues, whose commitment and expertise have supported our young people every step of the way. Finally, our thanks go to families for the encouragement and support they have given throughout this journey – it truly makes a difference. Today is a day to celebrate the achievements of our students and the strength of our Invictus community.”
