Pedmore High School Receives 'Good' Rating from Ofsted

We are delighted to share the exciting news that Pedmore High School has recently received a 'Good' rating from Ofsted, the UK's Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, parents, and the entire community.

According to the report, "Pedmore High School is a welcoming and inclusive school where pupils enjoy attending. They are proud to be part of this harmonious school. Pupils are respectful and tolerant of people's differences, and the school's inclusive nature means that pupils respect different cultures, beliefs and characteristics." The report also highlighted that "pupils behave extremely well and have very positive attitudes to their learning," and "pupils feel safe in school."

We are immensely proud of our students, who have demonstrated such exemplary behaviour and a positive attitude towards learning. They are not only respectful and tolerant but also strong ambassadors for the school. It is inspiring to see how much our students care about being part of our community.

The report also noted the warm and considerate relationships between staff and pupils. The strong focus on rewards and restorative practices has promoted positive and productive relationships between pupils and staff, and the leaders have set high expectations for pupils' conduct.

Our staff members are the backbone of Pedmore High School, and we are proud to have such dedicated professionals. The report highlighted that "teachers have strong subject knowledge; they deliver lessons with clarity and confidence," and "staff receive high-quality training to support students with SEND in the classroom." We are thrilled to see that our staff members are extremely proud to work at Pedmore High School, and there is a strong sense of collegiality and moral purpose among the staff.

We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this achievement. It is a result of the collective efforts of our students, staff, parents, and the community. We are committed to continuing to provide a high-quality education and fulfilling our vision for the quality of education that our pupils receive.
